Falling and Falling

After so many years
I've tried so hard
To get to the top
Do better than my best

I’ve tried so hard
To fit in with people
Let people like me
Get recognised

To fit in with people
Be like everyone else
Not wanting to be different
I get picked on easily

Be like everyone else
Something I've tried
In some cases succeeded
It still feels wrong

Something I've tried
No one told me otherwise
Sometimes i felt sick
Like I should disappear

No one told me otherwise
Failure was never an option
Yet no matter how hard I try
It still wasn’t enough

Failure was never an option
Body pushed to it's limits
Until one fatal day
something hit me

Body pushed to its limits
No longer could I cope
Everything changed
It had to be done

No longer could I cope
After so many years
All fell away completely
Wasting like decomposing

After so many years
It was all for nothing
Like a ghost with nothing left
Falling and falling

its kind of a ruff poem. well all of my work is really because they can always do with improving!

wow that was so freaking sweet, i like the way you wrote this dark poem, i wish i could write poems like that. Keep it up dancy.

Hey Dancy,

I'm glad you wrote this...haha, after reading stuff from Nympho and Jaderabbit, this was like a soda after a good jog, very refreshing and easy to follow, I love it also...thanks for the soda,

it has a smooth flow to it and it's really meaningful...guess it kinda reflects how every teenager feels. great work ^^
