fire in the heart

my hearts been burning up so much as of late
i cant seem to understand why i love so many
yet as i gaze down the path to tommorrow
i see myself alone and miserable
i want to love and be loved, yet i cant seem to find the one that will heal this old heart of mine

im now on fire, as the flames spread out.
i wish i could find someone that was near me to put me out
but alas im alone and burning out
i dont have much time, and the clock ticks my life away
i fear for my life as i gaze into the blaze

im burning up with no true love, i fear im destined to be alone
i cry to try to put out the blaze, but im not strong enough to uphold my ways.
the fire in my heart is consumeing all the oxygen around me.
im now suffocating in my own dilema.
i gasp and grasp for anyone that would save me

Capitalization and punctuation would make the poem look better.

i have to say that was a beautiful peom dude probably one of the best my eys have laid upon . except you burning even though i know it's a metaphor. trust me that would make me fall in love wid ya and i'm a dude.

i kept thinking of your signature the whole time i read the poem. it is very interesting to think of a skeleton burning up and trying to find love. i like it the metaphore is there and what it stands for is something that i think almost anyone can relate to.

I love this stanza. It's a keeper!

This poem is so sad..I really like it.

I love those two sentences. It tells how they're vulnerable to anything, and are capable of getting their heart broken once more, starting the poem all over.

It's deep and has purpose.
