Forgotten Mistletoe
All alone in this day
A mistletoe is in a box to stay
Forgotten by oh so many;
Aware that everyone is busy.
Thoughts of yesterday encircles,
As the gentle wind whistles;
Smiles of so many singles
Makes it want to mingle.
The lonely mistletoe sighed
As the precious times fly by;
Wishing itself to be as high
As the stars twinkling in the sky.
A lonely mistletoe is what it is
A single thing, that people shouldn't miss
Especially those couples who kiss
In this day filled with bliss.

Hi RAja i do so miss your writing and i like the way the poem flows, but i felt sad when i read it really sad. No one should be this lonely during the holidays.
