Awesome poem. Brava. Very nice. I loved how the narration in the poem presents itself.
I need to see this movie
Laws of old echo through the ages,
Ancient philosophers preach logical and sanity,
They have no use in the land of Sparta,
For there is only single law they follow,
Never retreat, never surrender, die with glory.
Amongst the roar of the 300,
A king's roar is heard and feared, Leonidas.
A God-king is made to bleed,
The Immortals are made to die like men.
Hot Gates of Hell awaited the Persians,
The Grim Reaper watched the battlefield.
Temptations of a God-king would bring glory,
But the Spartans make their own.
With spear, shield and sword,
300 slaughtered thousands.
Their glory was far greater,
For freedom was fought for.
It was won and all knew the might of Sparta.
Been a long time since i wrote a poem for AO. Anyways as you probably guess, this is indeed about the legend of the 300 Spartans who fight and died for freedom. Enjoy

I really liked it and the movie 300 isn't that bad.
Hmm.. gotta agree with those 2... good poem right there...
300 is awesome.. love the gore and the fighting skillsand also the strategies...
