He's leaving again
For the second time
And once he's gone
I'll have nothing that's mine
After the time has passed
And he returns
I won't be the same
I've had more lessons learned
My glass goodbye is going red
I should have said no
But I fell still
And he's going back to zero
I trusted to much
And hoped much more
That he'd stay this time
And not shut the door
The calendar's pages will strip away
I'll grow hollow and cease to live
And I'll turn to ashes in the cold
I can't hold him captive

ur love one....the who has hurted the first time....you were naive n closed ur eyes the things tht he is......jus hoping tht it isnt true but it is.....u've accept the truth n decided to let him go for the better

Awesome break up poem! I like the whole red glass part! But dont worry about him! U will have plenty other lovers, who will love you more than you ever thought, returning your genorosity. I thought when i started to read it that it would be corny and a type of diary, but i was wrong. I don't comment on poetry that i don't like. So you get a sticker!
