Growing pains
At birth I cried, once
Torn from my soul’s
Cradle. And down
Will come the baby, cradle and all.
The day my nearest and dearest
Shot me in me [rather sensitive] heart
I sat on my knees,
In silence.
When my first ever true love,
_____, rejected my proposal,
I read the entire holy books, twice and
Went to our tree in the
[Let’s say imaginary] Park where we had shared
Valentine-like days, and with grief, scratched our
Pact of love from its
Unforgiving trunk.
My life’s disappointments
Were what tarnish[ed] my dreams
And my life now temporarily is
Distorted with a little slumber …
[I don’t want to wake up]
Sleep seldom visits sorrow;
When it doth, it is a comforter.

Sorry it made you cry, Lizzie. But in a way love is Satan's aspiration. and I am starting to wonder whether it' healthy for you or not.
