I just finished a new poem. Looks like I'm back in a poem writting mood for a while. Tell me what you think.
Haunting Me-
In the back of my mind
I was waiting for the rain to fall
And drown my heart
But still I wasn’t ready
For the flood that broke down the walls
I always knew I wasn’t enough
I’m not right for anyone
Never will be what you need
Never will be what you want
But that doesn’t mean
I should be treated this way
No one else gets left
Crying in a pool of blood
Reflecting broken memories
Do you even remember my name?
My soul still calls to you
Calls your name from the depths of this dark hell
But you don’t hear me
You’ve closed yourself to my words
I feel like I’ve lost it all
Will I ever move on?
Will your memory ever be distant and far away?
Or will you haunt me for all eternity?
