Have I lost my touch?

This could be a part of a story or a play I COULD write, where a poet talks to himself of how it has become after him comming back to his town after a month of absence... Oooor... these could be my personal thoughts... Just hit me as if like in a dream...

Have I lost my touch
Even in something I love so much?
Have my poems gone bad?
Or it just because they’re so sad?

Or did it took only a month
For friends to forget of this trunk;
A month for the trace I’ve craved so hard to leave behind
To be swept away like junk of some kind?

Oh the cruel world of today
Where only the closest friends are sure to stay,
Where the lack of time spend together
May spoil a friendship… forever..

Oh, what does my passion mean
When it just makes more space to clean?
What use of making friends,
If it’s just a case of trends?

I should leave… I should
But giving up is not something I would…
I guess it’s time to crawl on these streets
I guess Luck is something not everyone meets…

this is nice. But the tink is that to find a real friend is reallky hard and friends who understand you there's no many.

I have felt EXACTLY what this poem depicts. Excactly... I swear it. And you wrote it so wonderfully!

Thats is so stunning.

Oh and I like how you have "mixed flava' groupie" on the sig. Kinda makes me feel like trend setter

Did you know mine used "Lasura's Groupie" before it was "mixed flava" or "Nariko"? It really did! Back when we joked of starting a Lasura fanclub.

Such a sad poem. Sometimes you pushed the rhyme scheme a bit much, but it was still good. I see it as a sort of rhyming soliloquy, a poet with writer's block sitting in the rain and talking to himself. I liked it.
