I wrote this piece while feeling incredibly homesick after I moved to CA.

"Home"
There is a place far from here
Where red-tail hawks fly free.
The sky rains down welcomeing tears.
Oh! this place I long to see.

There is a place far away
Where the woodlands stretch for miles.
There is a place where the foxes play.
Oh! this place it makes me smile.

There is aplace so close to my heart
Where welcome fires burn.
All I must do is depart
And go to this place my heart so yearns!

It's a very cute poem. You can see where the inspiration came from. Just a few minor spelling errors.

Good poem. I felt like that after I moved from where I'm at now and it did make me a little homesick. I can't wait to read your next one.
