Honoring A TRUE friend.

I honor you here,
ex-girlfriend of mine.
You're still talking to me,
after all this time.

You needed a shoulder,
though I wanted more.
No resentment here,
and neither of us is a whore.

You're married now,
with a beautiful baby.
Thought I've never dated,
never had another nice lady.

i give you honor,
and respect now friend.
hopefully this friendship,
can never end.

you're more beautiful now,
because of your mature heart.
i pray i have that love,
like you have began to start.

With your man,
and with your baby.
I'm hoping love is a promise,
and not a maybe.

I pray I have,
half the happy life you do.

This was for my ex-girlfriend Amandra. She was really sweet to me today. She has a nice husband, and a beautiful baby. I only wish I could have a girlfriend. It's all I want, until I get my life in order. I may find her, no telling. BUt thank you for reading my poem.

I agree a poem is a very powerfull way of honering a friend or relative. different bit of taste in the subject but you did good. Keep up the good work I hope to read more from you. and good luck on your "quest" if you want to call it that you will find her just give it time. remember the more you wait the more it will be rewarding to you. but dont take that as a bad thing because I dont mean it to be bad. anyways keep up the work man I will look forward to your next one!

that is such a touching poem. It was greatly written and was filled with Emotion. It really does show how some people can get through a break up and still talk, I admire people who do that as it hurts to much for me. Its great to see you back Shade/K' heart.
