This is a song that I just wrote...

How many times have you prayed with all your heart?
How many times have you asked...
and silence, all quiet, oh silence is all you hear?

How many times in your roon have you kneel and cried?
How many times all alone have you cried,
and see nothing going on and it's just...
silence, all quiet, oh silence is all you hear

But what you don't know,
what you don't see,
'cos your tears are blinding your eyes.
Is He is working, in the silence
when He is quiet he is answering.
He moves in the silence,
in the quiet place He works.

And silence... all quiet... Is what you hear....
oh quiet, is all quiet..... He is moving....

There were some spelling probllems though. Not much!

A song? Is this a sad song?
The lyric sound sad to me. But, not very sad though.
I think when you sing it with the music, many people will like it.

I loved this. I thought it was utterly beautiful... Although I had a hard time making it into any type of song in my head. I couldn't find the rythm in it.

But it flowed beautifully.

When I read it, in my head it sounded more like spoken word material.
It would be interesting to hear it as a song.

I have a melody for it that I wrote for piano... but a girl asked me to put melody so I let her... Mine is soft but comforting. I am very excited and curious about her melody

yes it is between sour and sweet... it is a reality of findiing oneself desesperated and praying so hard.... but to see nothing happening... but the real thing is He works and He moves when He is quiet... a recent experience thought me that about my God and Lord.... That's how this one came out.

Yes it would make sense that this would be about God... Now I think it is not only utterly beatiful, but inspiring as well. Its very true, he is always there, working, even when we are in doubt
