I don't need your approval.
We don't need to talk.
I am barely here....
It'd be too easy for me to walk.

You don't have to read this.
Or give a little note to me.
I don't need recognition...
Comments on my poetry.

Preceptions not quite on the ball,
Based on what you know of me.
Its not about attention.
Just what you show to me.

Bits and pieces, I show you...
But just the most disturbing things.
Not to hear whats never said.
Just thought you could be learning things.

Thoughts skribbled on an old notebook.
I tear it out, and type it here.
Words sometimes hold little meaning.
Your silence has spoken loud and clear.

i really liked this. it seemed to me more like a spoken word. i could almost here avril lavigne saying it slowly in my ear. very nice also that you stand up for yourself and you know this is an expression, not a cry for attention or meaningless recognition.

Peach you never cease to amaze me! Simply because I can relate to this poem and I was honestly thinking about writing one myself. The flow and structure of this poem was very sound and you know I'm a fan of free verse spoken word and you executed it flawlessly! *Standing O for Peach* I am very impressed!
