I'm a alcoholic without the alcohol I'm a friend without your friendship Call me half empty or half full it won't matter I'm a writer without it's pen. I'm a book with blank pages waiting each day patiently for a writer like you to come along and write on these pages. Only half a heart, only half a person and yet if I'm so half why am I full of emotion? I'm a pet without it's owner waiting in the rain - freezing cold As each drop falls in my head I cry my heart out for you. I can't live without you by my side Your my darkness to my light Your the smile to the frown Your the color of this plan empty rose I'm a lover without you to call my love I'm a dreamer without you as its dream No matter which way I put it or which way it's written I'm nothing - but an empty nobody without you and your friendship by my side.

Though it does leave me with empty sensation like Rave_Grip said and it has a few minor spelling mistakes like "pacientcly" or "writeer" but it's all good! "I'm a tear without a drop." thats so sad

I like how this poem slightly resembles a guy with one of those fidoras on =P you know the romantic hero with the wide brimmed hat? prolly not intentional and only a result of my delusion but I liked the poem for something that left me feeling so empty. althought I think you meant plain rose...
