I'm so sorry my love (the end)

If I loose you now
I know I’ll never be the same
Because I can not help
The way I feel about you

You’ve asked for my hand
Got down on one knee
And asked that one question
“Will you marry me?”

You will never know
How much that means to me
And now I know your gone
And all I can do is wish

I wish on the shooting star
That for once in my life
My happiness is here
To stay

For I never lied about that
You are the only thing
That has ever
Brought me true happiness

We talk now more than ever
And we have only gotten closer
I think that I have finally found
My one true love

Yet I have lost you
I know that I have
For with this poem
You are walking out the door

So let me say this
Before you leave
I will always love you
And my heart will only ever beat

For you…..

nice poem. the rhyme style was simple, which fit perfectly with this type of poem. i got a timid and shy feeling of regret from the person about to leave his loved one, which make the poem all the more enjoyable. love poems have been done, but i rele think that this was a cut abouve. even thou i cant relate to it, its nice to read. keep up the rhyming AD201092

Nice. But it was really sad. My only sudgestion, Is that since it was divided into three.... that each could have had its own beggining and an ending that tied it into the next. Insted of it seeming like one continuous poem.
