If that's what makes you happy,
it it's really what you want.
Then I'll kick rocks, I'll just
give up; I'll give myself the punt.

If that's what makes you feel good,
if it's what you truly need. Then
I'll take what pieces I have left,
pack them up and leave.

If that's what gives you peace,
then do what you must do.
But I hope that it doesn't put
a bunch of guilt in you.

If it will make you happy,
then it's out of my hands, I guess.
Just know I have a feeling that
it's something you'll regret.

If that's what puts your mind at ease,
Then I guess I'll take the pain.
I'll suffer for a worthy cause;
it will not be in vain.

If I go through with this I
know I'll be a stronger man.
I'll put up with what is dished
out to me for as long as I can.
