Thread: Inked Angel

As i sit here on the corner
putting my thoughts into
melody ,i see her walk by and
i smile as she stand there .

We talk as i play my song
turns into love as we seem to
talk about everything ,then she walks
on into the night , as watch her leave
i see an angel on her ankle with a tear
on its cheek.

Inked angel how i wish i could
wipe that tear away , the night is so
lonely and my song it plays for you ,
just don't shed that tear.

She walks away and is gone as i
play on my fingers never slowing as my hands
give feeling to things that i never though possible
Inked Angel my thoughts are with you tonight.

The sun now rising on a new day my song slows
the air now silent as i put my guitar away and leave
that corner think of her and the Inked Angel with that
tear in its eye.

Maybe i will see her again one day and make
that angel smile as i play my melody for her
and make her smile as i play on forever and
keep that tear away.

a friend of mine sent me 2 songs one of which
was called Inked Angel there was no words to it just
a awesome guitar melody that really lets your thoughts
wonder.

i asked my friend who did this song and they said it was
someone here on AO but she wouldn't say who so i listened
to it again and thought of this poem.

I give credit to the tittle of my poem for the song
that this person named it i added words to it myself
since this is what came to me when i played the song
again this person who ever it was is awesome with
acoustics.

so who ever you are its a very cool song and im glad i got a chance
to lsiten to it and any comments or sugestions would be cool
