Its been a month since his birthday.
He's got so big and strong.
Been a month since they've seen his smile.
But he see's nothing wrong.

It been a month since his birthday.
He's learned a few new words.
He's been looking out the window,
Making friends with the birds.

Its been a month since his birthday.
And their time they do not share.
He's still running, laughing playing.
Because he is unaware.

That people come and people go.
But they can't regain the things they'll miss.
He'll never grieve or shed a tear.
Because ignorance is bliss.

And youth is priceless.
They grow up so fast.
Love the children while they're sweet.
Precious moments never last.
