Thread: A Journey Of Self Discovery!

As i walk the path alone and see the thing
that fade away ,nothing but my self walks
this path as my journey carries me on, i discover
things about my self how life seems to always fail.

Life isn't all about me i know ,but at times
i wish it was because my journey of self discovery
is a cruel one ,i found that i don't care for life like
anyone else ,i enjoy the solidarity and the sadness
that comes from it.

People claim that I'm a fool ,and that i close my eyes to
things around me all i can say is that i am sorry but this
is my life and it suits me fine. i smile as walk down my path
as my self discovery opens more doors for me ,nothing i can
say or do will make you say you miss me too, and i am fine with that.

Soon my journey ends and I'm alone not once did i ask for
a hand and never did i receive it because of how life is
i fade away as i smile to my self thinking self discovery is a
what makes me right.

this poem is about those who go on quests or journey's of
self discover about life and how things have to be or why
no 2 answers are the same when they find what they want
but they do realize that other around them change ,or at least
they view them differently once they find the answer they took the
journey to find because they felt the need to question the faith or
how people see them. i would go on but this a poem any comment or
suggestion is welcomed
