Slowly I walk down the same ol' street.
With the same pair of Nike's on my sweaty feet.
I turn on my tunes and I start to dance.
Because my block is now vacant, so I take my chance.
Switch to the next track! My favorite from Rip Slyme.
The song makes ya think, "How long am I wasting my time?"
It's a pretty Jazzy song which makes me groove to the beat,
and it puts more sweat between the toes of my feet. ^_^
It's times like this I wish I had a car.
Because I don't like to catch the bus to play DDR.
Then I pause for a second--a thought becomes apparent.
I can go to down the street and play that game with Erik!
So I make a change of plans and I turn around.
I'm glad that I live on the border of that town!
I arrive and then there's another change of plan.
He says, "Let's go on a run to get some sake, man!"
I agree and I put my sweaty shoes back on.
It's about a block away, it won't take too long.
Buy the sake, then go back to where Erik resides.
Heat it up before we drink, raise your glass and KANPAI!!

I agree you have better, but this is ok!!!^^ something really relaxing and fun, nothing serious, just life from a simple point of view, the only serious and sad fraze was "The song makes ya think, "How long am I wasting my time?"" It's cool...
Enjoyed reading it... the right thing to readd before you go to sleep to save you from unneed thoughts about love or life and death...

Ehh... yea, understand- for the sake of writing- not as senceless as might seem it is... indeed this time it just doesn't have all the emotions in it... I've noticed you put a lot of them in your poems- by reading yout poems a persone can find out everything about your life...

I appreciate the efforts made to tell stories in your work lately. Im impressed, and inspired. To me that aspect, combined with the ability to rhyme and compose words with rythm... is what poetrys all about. AND... all that sweaty foot talk creates some seriously disturbing imagery... 'specially since Ive smelled those dogs before. Perhaps you should invest in some flip-flops. Y'know, get some air in dem b*tches.
