Kiss of Empathy
Her love for me...the fact she understands.
The caring eyes...showing me her pity.
All is calm at the moment.
This romance...t'is unparallel.
Her face it cures my sorrow.
Her sympathy it makes me whole.
Rejuvinate me...bring me into the light.
embracing you...is all...that I can think of.
and through this all...I'm feeling uneasy.
my body quakes with fear and angst.
I've felt this ofr a while...the true anguish of this all.
"we were never meant to be..."
...were we?

Re: Kiss of Empathy
wow i like this poem alot and i think
that nagging voice in your head that
always questions your choice no matter
if its good or bed can be a good thing.
it helps you out in alot of spots that you might
think the answer is easy when it isn't ,very cool
i like that your poem is about how feelings can be so
confusing

Re: Kiss of Empathy
Confusion can lead to right or wrong, or simply more confusion. Questioning your every action can save you at times, but life isn't quite simply put charitable no matter what your choices are. You make up your own life and your own actions. Hesitating I think is part of who you are or are not. Some remove this from themselves and climb desperately higher in life, but often people forget to balance their choices and inevitably, they fall. It can be conscious or not. Conscious leads to knowing your fate and not being able to change anything. Unconscious leads to things you'll never know of, but knowingly have done what you truly wanted. That's why some say ignorance is bliss. Not knowing what is best, even if the situation becomes darker than before, you can never know without a doubt if things would have gone well. Not knowing and yet wanting to know leads to trying to fill an empty spot in your life that will never be full. This leads to purpose and to action, so no matter what, having a purpose, going forward, making choices, unconsciously leading your existance ever forth, is the best attitude to take, not loosing sight of a word that exists under many aspects, forms, words and much much more:
H O P E (or something like that)
P.S.: I will not revise this, but I hope you appreciate this little exercise of mine. It was inspired by you and your poem which seemed quite interesting in itelf. Confusion ^^
