Well that's something you don't see everyday. It's interesting enough and I like the imagery tech. good job ^_^
Land of Mystery
Someway,
In the city of golden sand,
Mysteries filled the air,
From the early dawn,
Till the shadow of darkness passes by,
Till Isis become the Queen of night.
As the wind changes starts to blow,
Amon -- sits on his throne,
Watching the magnificant Pyramids,
And the great Sphinx,
Down beneath his kingdom of eternity.
The magnificant Pyramids,
An ancient and sacred tomb,
Of the mighty Pharaoh Khutu,
Prince of the sun,
King of Egypt.
The great Sphinx,
A monument of honour,
With the face of a man,
And the body of a beast,
Guarding the Pyramid,
From the touch of mankind,
Shall it be known?
As the land of Mystery?

Great poem! I like the way you given this poem and egyptian feel! I love the way this poem flows! Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading more your work in the near future!
Thanks Rave_Grip, Lotski and BlueFox1.![]()
Lotski, I like to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt, but I know I can't and won't go there. I like some film showing the scenery of Egypt and I saw movie 'The Mummy' and 'Mummy 2' ...
I believe there was a typo. Khutu should be Khufu?

Didn't noticed that ... read the poem again (carefully), but it doesn't matter now ...
it is something different..not about emotion but about something that we can see with our eyes...that's great.
