There was a crow who sat
at my window, he watched over me.

This crow was black with
beads of blood for eyes.

I wandered away from
my burrow one day and came upon a house with blue trees for shade.

The house was old and deserted,
with not but a mouse.

The mouse was old with a beard of gold
dragging at his feet.

"You've returned my queen, I must inform the king," the mouse stuttered at me.

A giant ram developed from a room, surely to seal my doom.

But no! He was there to present a ring of
marriage to me.

His eyes were that of painted porcelain,
with which I was scared to betray.

He gently took my my hand, slipping the ring on tight.
A giant bubble then engulfed me, sending me to a place of trees.

In this place there stood two thrones,
all made of bone.

For years I sat upon my throne,
oh so longing for my home.

Then one day I saw the crow
with eyes of blood at my pedestal.

He had come to take me home.

On a massive moth we soared away,
from land to land, sea to sea.

One day, away my hand slipped.
Down, down I fell through the dusty clouds to my long awaited death.

The roses smelled so sweet, and the earth seemed to shift as I began to drift into my blank eternity.
