Lies

Bring the day,
Cause night is over.
Turn off the lights,
For darkness has come.
Let it rain,
Drenching this burning land.
A land, burning with lies.
No truths are told;
From masked goblins.
Just words spewing out;
Overflowing.
Words with no meaning
Or words that needn’t be said.
Each sentence, our thoughts in disguise;
Hiding hidden intentions…no truth-only lies.
Each word giving off a portion of ourselves.
And each breath, pouring life into those pieces.
The breaths we exhale,
Emanates a part of our souls.
And as we live, we breath,
Spreading one soul to the next.
A plague
Contaminating everyone,
With the filthy souls they give off,
Souls filled with lies…

good job on exposing the filth of a liar. Like they're a disease to society. And thats excatly what they are too. Esspecially those who lie like its second nature, for no reason at all. Like reality isn't suitable so they want themselves and everyone else to live in their lies..... yuck....

I totaly agree with all Peach says (again lol), you've managed to show it all in a wonderful poem, one that makes you read it from the start 'till the end and think...
