Life is but the journey,
Death is the destination,
So do not give up hope,
Do things with no hesitation.

Life is but the happiness,
That you feel everyday,
Death is just your release,
It's inevitable OK?

Live for every moment,
Don't ever follow the crowd,
Feel the pain of love lost,
Be confident and loud.

Don't hide away in dark corners,
Don't wallow in despair,
Because life is for living,
Though that might seem unfair.

So when you think of giving up,
And retreating to your mind,
Remember what life is,
Don't ever run or hide.

You must feel the pain,
And make it a celebration,
Because life is but a journey,
And death is the destination.

As always... good poem. I like the way you started it and continued to do so throughout. I quoted my favorite lines. I am not a fan of being yet another face in the crowd. I like standing out and being different. ^_^ I'm also quite confident in who I am no matter what. It's an encouraging poem in some ways. I like it.
