Thread: Life As You Think You Know It!

Life so brilliant , so wonderful , things
around it seem so vivid and restless
nothing seems to make life seem pointless
you think when you wake up thing are going
to be OK.

Life so harsh , so dark , so much pain
there always a danger around some corner
no matter where it is in life you turn , people
think turning there heads from it makes it not
be real but what you cant see can hurt you.

You lay there bleeding from your eyes , your ears
ring so loudly as you feel your legs go numb and you
arms go limp , my god how life seems to have got your
attention but its to late for you as life laughs at you
as you lay there fading away into another bleak fate.


Why is it that when you think of life you think
of living for ever when the wise thing to do is to
live every moment as if it were your last because
it maybe so be weary of those chirping birds , the sun
filled sky and the noise of laughter as those could
be signs of your life ending very soon.

this poem is about how reality can be ignore for so long
before it hits you and there is nothing you can do about it.
