There's a voice building up within my throat that
won't seem to take effect when I need it most.
The pale of my skin doesn't sparkle under the hands
of the sun anymore, not even the cast of my eyes
reach the sky.
The yellows of the world don't spark a flutter in my
heart like you do.
Words in books seem to drown under the waves of my
thoughts, never recovering to the shore.
Lay with me and look at the world through the distance
in my eyes, help me compromise.
I can't stop holding my breath for this place
to change.
I can see you in the distance, reaching for my, arms
outstretched. I'm reaching for you back. hope seems
always distant.
As my eye lashes pull back from my lids, I can
see the world for what it really is.

(I really don't suggest people to try and read 4 pages of poems on AO as I do now, too many feelings and emotions at a time...)
