Love/Hate

I love the way you look at me,
but hate the way you glare.
Whenever you're upset with me
you get this evil stare.

I hate the way you yell at me,
but love the way you scream.
I'd go further on this subject,
but the mods will edit me. (LOL!)

I love it when you come over
and hate it when you leave.
I bet you'd stay if my house
was at the top of a tall tree.

I hate the fact I can't have you,
but love that you're around.
If I didn't ever get to see you
I'd probably leave town.

I love that you're my best friend,
but hate that I lost one.
I'll be tactful, I'll be his friend;
but what we once had is done.

I hate that we can't make a
move without feeling spied upon.
I love the fact that people say
you'll be back once he's gone.

This is such a romantic poem really!!! Thats why I like it! It's kinda sad to me but it's so romantic indeed!!!! I hope to see more!

its way to gooey ooowe for my too mush but i bet i can get a new girlfired with it great poem

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it so much. I didn't think that anyone would like it. It just came out of me from left field. I wrote it in about 2 minutes flat.

Hmm... a nice poem... A bit funny, a bit sad, a bit hateful, a bit of love too...
Very nice... a great work, though i just wanted to scream "Get over her!" when I read it (sorry, I'm really emotional about these kinds of things that happen to my friends...)...

Indeed a great work Sprout!!! I'll be waiting for the next time you get bored at your work and write something great like this ^^

Why thank you, Laura! ^_^ I think that this has to be one of my better poems. I'm glad that you like it, because this is one of the few poems that I post and I'm satisfied with it, y'know?

I hope to write more poems of this calibur.
