I start to wake slowly
Feeling someone beside me
A smile playing across my lips
That was a night I'm glad I didn't miss
I looked around the not expecting to see you
To see you smile at me the way you did
Not after ending us so long ago
Not after what hurtful things I said
Walking slowly across the towards you
Is it me really me your smiling at?
Do you still love me he way you said you did?
Lets see lets put it to the test?
Leaning up in bed so I could watch you sleep
What an angel I have beside me
Moving some hair off of your forehead
Watching you wake slowly.
My smile getting even bigger
As your eyes open slowly
Cuddling closer to you
Laying there in your arms
Leaning up to kiss you
Whispering against your lips "I Love You."
Pulling back to see your smile
Your smile melting my heart
Looking up deeply into your eyes
Not believeing what I saw
You really did love me
When you said it so long ago
Never thought this would happen
Oh how many times I dreamed about it
To have you there beside me
You make me feel so loved.
Foolish to call you a liar so long ago
Smiling as I tell you again just how sorry I am
Closing my eyes before drifting off to sleep
Whispering what you mean to me and how much I love you.
That night I'm glad I never missed
For you are here with me now
Your love shown to me with just one kiss
The love I don't want to let go.

Thank you that's my first poem too. Hope your really enjoyed it. This is how I feel with Sinistra. At first I thought he was lying but over the time I found out what what a fool I was being.

I'm glad that you liked it Babepooh15. The only thing that I wish with this poem not saying that it isn't good but my punctuation is not that great and it's second rate. The poem I wanted to submit got erased when I typed it up. For you see I don't write it down on paper. It comes straight off the top of my head and I type it up. Last night for some reason my computer sent me back to the previous page and my poem was gone. I wanted to cry because some of the words I didn't remember but I sucked it up due to nothing is worth crying for. I came up with something almost as good and I hope you guys enjoy it. Even though it's in need of better punctuation.
