As I walk down the street, I can't help but to think of you You fill my mind all of the time, Your even in my dreams Holding me tight, And whispering how much you love me It's to good to be true, But as good as it seems..it's only a dream... "Only a dream" I'm sitting at home all alone, Always checking my phone As I look at the screen praying it to ring, But all I see is nothing It's just wishful thinking, This is how it's meant to be You could never love me, I know this but I can't help crying... "Can't stop the burning tears" Sitting at the park all alone, Watching all the other lovers go by I can't help but to think of you, As I cry silently to no one My heart can't take much more of this pain, Maybe I should just forget and try to live on But that's impossible, Cause you are the light in my world of darkness... "My light in the world of darkness" I don't want to let go of you, Though you aren't mine to keep My eye's well up with tears at that thought, But what can I say..I need you Your all I think about at night, I can't even sleep and when I do I dream of only you You are the angel that could save me from damnation, But I guess i'm already condemed to eternal pain... "Meant to live in pain and heartache forever more" My only wish is to be held by you, To feel your warm embrace To hold your hand in mine, And be healed by that loving warmth To be kissed by you, As the warmth begin's to melt the ice surrounding my heart For you tell me that you love me with all of you heart, That would be my forever lasting dream... "That is my one and only dream" I smile when you go by with another, But I can't help but to cry on the inside When we're all alone, I can't help but to feel those so called butterfly's But someone always comes and steals you away, And i'm left all alone once again It just can't be helped, I've realised this but it still hurt's so much...
