    Lunar Impact

    Men in power wanted to break the Moon's ground.
    Kaguya was the closest billion around.
    They set it on a collision course and told the press,
    But when all the dust settled on Selene's fortress
    Not one weapon of mass destruction was found.

    wow this is a great poem. but there is one little thing bugging me. i didn't like the ending!
    when i read "no weapon of mass destruction was found" i felt it just can't end there. just work a little on it.

    Thank you. The greatest compliment a writer can get as when people tell him they want more. I wrote this to improve my skills in classic limerick style. That is five lines, aabba, and of course humous subject matter. I did think of an ending for you though.

    No longer to Earth is are ravaging bound.
