The moment when our lips had touched,
For a moment my heart skipped a beat.
At this moment where all my doubts had faded,
A kiss melted all my fears.

The minute had seemed like forever,
and the minute had passed to hours.
In this one moment, I can tell him
I am all he needs to fight his fears.

My senses had heightened,
My body aware of everything
In this moment of weakness
I intend to be his strength.

For all the fears and tears he showed,
at this time with only me.
For just one moment he made me
All of what i only hoped to be.

As our hands touch,
As our breath mingle,
In this moment with him,
I intend to be his wings.
