Strained emotion and feeling,
It's so hard when your dealing,
With someone so close and so dear.
But bet I will shed not one tear.

My heart was broken,
Your opinions loudly spoken.
My worth to you presented.
My feelings ignored or resented.

No more will I allow regret.
You may not but I will forget,
All the ick and bad in the situation
And revel in that alienation.

A very nice work... I find this a very emotional piece- you can feel the distance between you and that guy... a bit of anger, a bit of sadness... I really enjoyed reading this, it was like reading a roman, only better.. ^^

This kid was my best friend for years. He helpped me through one of the worst relationships I've ever been in. And when I was in the clear he wanted me to be his. But things fell to pieces and in the end he hated me. Even though it was his actions that brought the break up. It sucked. It hurt a lot.
He mailed me the other day, and that's what got me to thinking about this. It was nice to get some release.

In the poem I sense anger and betrayal. One thing u must never let anybody do is try to bring u down on the decisions u make. so what if u get a new boyfreind, he has no right hatin u 4 that besides he's three states away from u. after all its your life. Possessive people suck!
Anyways i really like this poem. its sad and heartbreaking but beautiful

See, theres anger in there, but it's from what things were like when he and I were kids. We were horrible to each other. But I must of made an impression because two years later when I was a legal adult he decided to give it a go agin and things were fantastic until I realized the distance was killing me. THen he was cool with being just friends. Till I got a new man. And even then he was sTILL good friends with me, just a little banged up. And then it got even worse because I left the last one and got a new one again. HE felt passed up, like he missed his turn and he became jerk-man again.
I'm glad you like this one though. I'm pretty fond of your writing aswell.
