I had written these and think that something is wrong with them, can you tell me if my syllables are right?
Behold the meadow
Fire burning all around
Where has the life gone
A tree of plenty
Has grown inside the forest
Of my empty heart
Laughing shadows run
Playing merrily alone
Joy masks the sorrow
Thirteen animals
The cat, rabbit, and the ox
Favorites of mine
The emptiness grows
The darkness never fading
Life has been silenced
Mythical volumes
The books dusty on the shelf
Forgotten and dead
Cold frozen wasteland
Lifeless forests of branches
Frigid winter snow
Leaves floating downward
Colors of red and orange
The calm autumn wind
Opening flowers
The fragrant scent of roses
All grows in spring rain

My favourites are the second, because I love forest and I like the idea of that one, the third one is great- "Joy masks the sorrow"- so true, I mask my sorrow with joy all the time- fooling around and acting "shiny", the fifth is about death... I love that fact... different from any of the haiku I've read and the last one about spring rain... lovely!!!!!!!!!
