My adorable lil sis
Rose I used to call her, her cheeks so round and red
The way she used to pout when I pinched them
Her handsome features still visible when she was stone cold

I hated the way she ignored my orders
I disliked the way she used to get me into trouble
I liked the way she used her cheekiness to get out of them, too
I loved the way she brought a smile to my face
I adored her personality, her spirit and her will to move on

I still remember the way we used to watch the stars together
How her eyes widened at the sight of the heavens
The way the stars reflected off her wonderful eyes
Everything about her was magnificent

When she was cold I would wrap blanket around her tender body
To nurture my little rose
To run my hand through her hair when she would fall asleep on me
Was something I would never give up on!

I miss the way she used to grip my thumb
Begging me not to go to the school
I would assure her by a warm and gentle hug
-And by her pinkie promise-
That I’d return to her before she could spell her name

Tears still flow out of my eyes
Melting the wall of hope and promise so quickly
To remember the way she burnt in front of me
Her small and tender body burnt into ashes

All those sweet memories
Every last drop of exhilaration
Sucked away by the unforgivable incident
Which shattered the bond between us two

Nevertheless my love will remain as strong as her will
Like her spirit to move on

Wow. What a sad poem, Rushil. I'm sorry you had to go through that. As much as I hate the way my little sister gets me into trouble.. and as much as I hate the way she talks to me.. I love her, and could never imagine losing her. You're stronger than me for even writing it down. It really was a beautiful poem.

Why would you write something so sad??? It was beatutifully written but It's sad.... I wish I could have a little sis but not that way...

I had many lil sis but they turn out to be bad for me.. sheesh -.-
making my life a living hell.. i better run to them college soon ~.~ sheesh
