Ever since I can remember
When I started this journey of life
As a beginner
I was already an expert as a sinner
Only problem with this
You don't get rewarded nor crowned as a winner

Been messing up my outer soul & my inner
I can't fake break
So no need to be a pretender

Ever since I lost that thing called innocence
I got in trouble more than a little bit
Got heavy with my actions
Saying to hell with the consequence

If God is my witness
The co-signer
Of all this evidence

I always had a problem with that word called lust
Desires so strong
It overwhelmed me a little more than too much
Where you couldn't have what you want

All you can do is look
But never touch
Out of your grasp

Which can drive you insanely mad
Wishing it was yours
Wishing it is what you had
Your thoughts is just take it

Getting myself ready to grab
Then my conscience come into play
And I pull myself together & get my composure back
I leave it right there where it's at

I desist just like that
You can say
I got back on track

Now that my heart is filled with that color called black
Can this be a.k.a. hate
If like I didn't have enough to swallow
I got this on my plate

I don't like this feeling
I just want it to go away
Cause this is an evil look I have on my face

So what do I have to do
To try & replace
Get a better understanding on the situation
And turn to dislike instead of hate

I might not like the problem
But I understand the case
See I have plenty pride

To admit that I'm wrong is hard for goodness sake
To swallow that & set aside
Is some what a gluttony
That's way too high

I was too lazy to even try
Then my life did a turn around
And your love came into my life

It aided me
And helped me get on by
When I see you fighting the demons w/in yourself in total darkness
I want to be your light

When you ask
How come I care so much
That's the reason why

Thanks a mill'... I know it was kind of long... To be honest I had to cut it short cause I know if I put the whole version in ppl would of felt the same way... (If they already don't)... All my poems get kind of lenghty... I guess when I write I don't know when to stop... I feel the need to pour my emotions on paper... Thanks for the comment!!! But you give me too much credit I just like to write... But I'll accept the compliment...
