I know it's been a while.
I wish to spend some time with you,
and get to see your smile.

I think he will understand how much you as a father wants to be in his life & how much you care that's no doubt... I like it when you write about you & your son it seems that is when your feelings mix in all together with each other or maybe I am a big ol' sapp since me & my father is at a fall out... Keep up the good work!!!
