My Reflection

You were my mirror
The other me,
My Reflection
Always standing in front of me,

You knew my pain
The feeling of saying bye,
How I questioned life
Yet never stopped to know what was behind my eyes,

You were my reflection
Yet why did we live such different lives,
When all I wanted was your smile
To lift me from my dive,

You who were no different from me enjoyed your life
When I just sat there in the corner and cried,
I trapped my self in a cage as you flew in wide open space.
While a large part of me died,

I was your mirror
Your reflection,
The other you
Yet I trapped myself on earth
As you slowly took flight.

Well it is true, but then again the effort put into it, counts too. Nice poem i really liked it.

I see that you corrected the problems that Kasai pointed out, and with that the poems title caught my attention! So to agree with ketaro the effort you put into this poem makes it worth reading! Nicely done!
