My Shadow....The Other Me...


You hide yourself in the shadows, I come when you call
I try to stop myslef, But I go when you call my name
They say the shadows are dangerous, But I feel safe within them
There in your arms I wish to be, But I wake up every morning and find out it was just a dream...

I wonder around during the day, Waiting for the shadows to fall
For there I can be held by you, Even if it's not reality
For in my dreams in the shadows, I can be who I want to be
I can be your friend or lover, Just as long as you held me...

As we waltz at night, I can't help but want to sleep during the day
Then we could dance throughout time, Just me and you my shadow
You live in the shadows, And I in the light
We can only meet in the moonlight, And have our twilight waltz...

A sinful passion burns for you, My tears turn to ash when they fall
A broken place, I feel not safe
Reality is like hell, The shadows and you are my hayven
Scared and alone, Hollow within without you...

My shadow, You are the only one who understands
My knight, You who protects me
My friend, You have alwayed helped me
My lover, I wish it to be...

My heart beats for you at night, But begins to die in the light
Standing on a thin line, You and the light pull at each end
I'm being torn apart, I wish to be with you
But the light wont have that, It wants me to it's self...
