Wow, this poem deffinately touched something in me, seeing as how I am a mother and all. It was like I could be at the opposing side of this. (Only my sons fathers would never say that to me). They either ARE there, or they have "more important" things to do.
Seems like these days its so easy to walk away. Its rare you see a father fight for their child.

Thanks Peach, I sometimes think about it too, but I dedicated this poem to a cousin of mine, so pretty much we're claiming each other as brother's.
