Thread: Never to be

My heart beats hard when I look at you.
My lips get dry and I can't speak.
I want to tell you but I hold it inside.
Head spinning from thoughts of love,
My heart thumping from excitment.

My mind goes off to a wonderous place;
Its above the stars, and beyond any galaxy ever seen.
A paradise just me and you,
The birds singing; the wind humming.
The ocean so beatiful; the sky so blue.

But right then I wake to realize your gone,
Just me standing there and heart broken.
Never my heart tells me...
Never to be.

Please comment this is one of my serious poems since 5 years I need to get back on track
