This pain I have in side
Was is caused by you
Or this never ending sorrow that exist within me?
Shouldn't I be dead?
Why must I continue to suffer the way I do?
My life has been nothing more than a broken vessel
My heart is nothing more than a crumbling stone
Isn't there anyone who can fix this?
My body goes numb for the hope of a new tomorrow
Holding on to a dream that can never happen
A shattered hand holding on to a broken reality

Even so I must hold on
For the sake of others I must live
I have to survive in order to save them
Even if it means...
Even if it means the lost of my own soul
I will protect them
The path I've chosen is lonely
And the burden is too great to bear
Though sometimes I look at the sky and wonder
In the end who will save me?

very awesome poem being alone can really test one sanity
and sometimes test there will to survive or to keep going,
its a sad part of life that caring for others while putting your self
second or even last means sacrificing more than anyone will ever truly
know, but its worth it in the end because the ones you love and want
to be safe and happy will always have someone there for them.

this is what i get from this poem and it it really has a lot of emotion in
it i loved how described the feelings here and i cant wait to read another

Wow you were right on target. That is exactly what I was going for. I had writer's block for a few months because of some stuff I was going through. But now it seems I'm making a come back. Thanks again for the comment.
