I can never stop chatting about you,
But when I see you I can’t talk.
I always long to dance with you,
But when I’m around you I can’t walk.

I cannot live without you,
But when I’m with you, I die.
I can’t stop smiling at you,
But once you’re gone, I cry.

Can’t I decide what to do?
Can’t I control my emotions?
Well, I guess I’ll have to learn-
Now this is a new notion.

Next time I see you I promise to talk,
And inside I will not die.
Next time I see you I promise to walk,
And I promise not to cry.

i made this poem a few days ago, and it is very special to me because i consider it a promise that i made myself
