No matter how far I am
No matter how hallow this friendship might seem
I still have a feeling-
I still have an urge to help.

“It’s not your business!!!”
A voice in my head screams.
“How could it not be?”
Answers my heart. “How couldn’t I care?”

Please make it stop!
Please erase it all from my head!!!
I’m done with standing and viewing it all
With my hands tied and bound.

One by one the pieces of the puzzle revealed
Step by step deeper into the darkness it took…
Love, hate and regret all mixed together
It all comes to be too hard to bear…

Start a new page,
Take only the best with you,
Forget about the pain,
Create new smiles…

That’s what I have to say…
But who am I?
A friend so meaningless,
A friend so powerless…

Ugh... All day Ive been crying. For so many reasons... And I read this and cried harder. And it was the ugly, snot nosed cry too...

It's a very good piece of writing you've put here. Lately I've been thinking about starting a new page in life. I just don't know where to start "writing" so to speak. This poem made me think alot. Good work on this one. ^_^

Meaningless? Powerless?? Oh, no you aren't. At least I think so. You've helped me out when I was down, and you always are here seein' how I'm doin'. That's pretty meaningful and powerful to me.

It truly shows... That person you have created in that story must have been filled with great remorse... But it's okay... We are bound to make mistakes and then when we see it, of course it's natural for us to want to make things right. We learn from mistakes... We, ourselves can't afford to answer everyone's expactations... Okay, well- it's nice! Your poem just bring back something into my memories... It's a good poem.
