when this gloomy town is tinted by dusk
as this heart warming day goes by
i drown in an ocean of happiness
like i have nothing to fear
i smile as i sink but i dont know why
to my suprise
even on this fateful day the sky
is always clear

as if without distance between us
she constantly appear
that girl with those sparkly eyes
rendering me completely careless

i wish for that same smile
at that same place
for just a little longer

when im with her
everyday and every step is a precious memory
in the making
that can never disappear

can you tell me this is love?
this warm feeling inside
this faint gentle breaze in the air

can you tell me everything will be ok like this ocean
of happiness thats drifting me away

so please,
to the one i love
can you tell me that you love me too?
even if its a lie, to beable to hear it from you
is like a global incantation

this magical incantation that can carry my dreams
to an endless destination

i sing a song to myself, reminding me of us
i do the things i do best, i hope they'll make
you happy

like a love story we've seen before
i look forward to the next time we meet
