There's a world out there
Just waiting to be discovered
Calling out to me
Everyday and every night
A heaven, a castle on a cloud
Gently floating over and over
An impossible reality
Just waiting to be seen by the likes of me
Imagination bonds with it
Everyday and every night
An angel, a witch, a friend
A dream, a wonder, a fantasy
There's a world out there
Another universe to call my own
o play, to explore
Letting my imagination take flight
Upon the midnight clear
And laugh and have some fun
Another dimension
That I control
A magical place
Where I make the impossible happen
Somewhere that I truly belong
And where my dreams come true
Where there are magical girls
And there are magical boys
Protecting everything that's right
While enjoying their life
Showing off their talents to all
Making the best to be free
Yes, I believe
That there really is a world out there
Just waiting to be discovered
And being seen by the likes of me
Maybe someday I will discover it
Because, I believe
When my imagination takes me to that world
It makes my heart skip a beat
Yeah, I'll see that world for real someday
That heaven, that castle on a cloud
That dream, that wonder, that fantasy
Yeah, I'll see it
Maybe...
Someday...

I won an award for this poem at my school's poetry contest. I was in first place for seventh graders.
