It was beautiful then...
ugly now that it's long gone.
A love that bloomed of fake flowers,
and mowed over in this fake lawn.

I needed to get away from that,
fakeness that was once sought.
I just pray for my one now,
and hope my searching isn't for naught.

Angel...I know you are near.

Give me the light so I can see,

I'm an overflowed dam,
