    Paint The Lily

    Sometimes things have a way of falling into place,
    other times it's better not to give chase.

    Denial held strong,
    you never know you have till it's gone.

    This world is a defective playground full of
    swingsets and merry-go-rounds waiting to throw you off
    the ride.

    We're piling bibles and crosses high, eventually
    what goes up must come down.

    We've settled in our comfort and our thousand
    dollar beds, while others are starving, hanging
    by a thread.
