Gotta take a break.
Gotta hit the dusty road.
Drop my load.
From puches thrown.

Somethin I gotta do on my own.
I need to kick rocks.
I have to walk (you need to walk)
Can't continue to talk the talk.

If you stand for nothing.
You'll fall for anything.
I'll be back.
When the fat lady sings.

Then perhaps it will be over.
When we're all bit older.
But by then Im sure...
... I'll just brush off my shoulder.

I see whats important.
I see it every damn day.
This really aint poetry.
Its just word play.

We arent impacting eacother.
We're just playing games.
Like kids, throwing rocks.
And then calling names.

And the poeple who know me.
Who got a chance to take a peak.
You know I deal with alot.
My situation is unique.

But not really.
We're all in the same boat.
So Im not leavin' by myself..
I'll take them with me as I float.

But I got things I got to do.
I get distracted by peach following you.
And now Im through.
