People Come And Go, Each Beautiful
I took a train to the big city for a weekend trip.
From a tower I looked down, watching people on a strip.
One man was dressed impeccably maybe saw two get wed,
Or possibly he had to pay his respects to the dead.
A bright clad woman was walking cheerfully in good health.
With clothes she made herself for expression not lack of wealth.
The beautiful people are here now, come and go this way.
They will not be here exactly and will age one more day.

When I say big city I mean a city that is gigantic. Not new york.
The actual city is tokyo and osaka.

Wow. This poem is certainly not the usual love, depressed or hating. It's actually happy! U don't find many poems like this around anymore... i guess people are more into the angsty sad vybes now. It is not too long, has a nice rhyming scheme and is interesting how u looked at how the people may be dressed for.
Random statement: I'd love to go Tokyo! The biggest cities where i'm from, u can drive around in a couple hours...provided there's no traffic :-(
Re: People Come And Go, Each Beautiful
I agree with Serenity Carter there need to be more happy poems.
I like your poem isn't to long but its good.
Good job and keep it up.
Random statement: I going to Tokyo in June or July and $20 i'm going to get lost within 5 minutes of getting off the plane.

Wow I really loved this...
As I read it, it flowed amazingly... It is so original in subject matter and yet as common as it gets...people.
When I closed my eyes I could see my own versions of the people described here, as if I were people watching... Bravo.
Re: People Come And Go, Each Beautiful
I don't really like poetry much but this was lovely.
