    Pictures

    Pictures tell a lot
    They tell enough for a story
    Maybe even in song
    One thing is for sure

    Pictures are forever
    They hold the best and worst
    Some hold mystery
    All holds us

    Whenever the picture is seen
    So is our lifetime
    or just a moment
    No matter what though

    Pictures capture our only equivalent
    The only thing that is us
    Mostly the thing that was us
    But whenever you see my picture

    It shows you me
    As I was
    As I am
    And Who I will be

    Man, I've just got a knack for poppin' your reply cherry, huh?

    This is like the fourth poem of yours that's been read by many, yet I'm the first one to reply. LOL.

    Anyway, I like this one. There's plenty of truth behind your statements and I agree with the last stanza about how a photograph of one's self represents that person, always and forever. I may dress differently now, I may speak a bit differently, but no matter what; the Sprout you see in pictures of the past, present or future will always be the Sprout that you guys put up with now. Just like you or anyone else.
